IR Bleach Bypass Lut (Black & White Infrared Film Profile)

$3.99

Infrared Color Grading Lut for videos and photography (i.e landscapes, aerials, cinematic effects). Infrared preset turns green leaves to an unsaturated off white color.  Recommend to apply to standard color profiles (V-log, C-Log, etc).

Bleach Bypass recommended to be used in bright sun or with a (Yellow K-2) Filter to increase the unsaturated look.  Also use the files to convert the Aerochrome images to a colored Black & White image as shown in the pictures (sky will remain blue).  For film, use with Lomo Turquoise to convert to a Monochrome image (without any additional filters).

(2) Photoshop LUTs are included in this listing a) IR Bleach Bypass_Cool and b) IR Bleach Bypass_Warm tones.

💡 Pro Tips for Perfect Results
Because false-color infrared looks rely entirely on how the camera sees greens and yellows, follow these simple steps for the ultimate pop:
  1. Expose Correctly: Shoot your flat Log footage with clean exposure, avoiding heavily crushed shadows.
  2. The Color Trick: If your foliage isn't turning red enough, simply open your editor's Hue vs. Hue or HSL wheel, select the Yellow/Green channel, and slightly shift it left or right. Watch the colors instantly snap into perfect vintage film looking landscapes.
